My mother is almost fully blind, but still buys me a mug or two every now & then.
with this one she just saw all the beautiful green stripes & a 'funny colourful thing in the middle' so she HAD TO buy it for me.

Well, the problem here is, you see, I will never be the "Weltbeste Opa"(World's best Grandpa) even if I would want to 'cause I'm female... :)

In celebration of my Mother's B-Day this week.
I bought this for her a few years ago. Shes doesn't know much english but knew what mother & coffee meant so she wanted this when we went through the isles of my fave Mug 'outlet-store'.

In the red 'banner' at the bottom of it, it says "Always Reliable"
Isn't that what mothers ought to be? ;)

I bought it for him at a chinese Asia-Supermarkt in West-Cologne a few Years ago while shopping.

I was in Krefeld again 3 days ago. My mother made me go. :D
So I bought some useless stuff like clothes & shoes... and this wonderful, very useful mug!

Of course with a(n almost) fitting coaster. ;)

This Mug should have been posted for week 51 of the Year 2012, but unfortunately I was without Internet for 4 weeks & so I had to put the Blog on a forced Hiatus.
Let's hope the issues are out of the way from now one.

Mugs Monday XLIII

This is my turkish Libra Zodiac coffee mug with a gold rim, given to me by my mother a few years ago.
It is my Sun Sign, but I wish I could find a mug with my Moon Sign, too, one day.
And I love how beautifully painted the moon, stars, planets & the scale itself are. ❤
Oh, and look closely at the Date they put in this one... maybe you'll see what I mean. :)

This mug is from the german comic "Das kleine Arschloch", in english speaking Countries known as "Little asshole"(also the literal translation).
It is about a psychoweird little boy.
And on this mug he's jumping around naked (typical for this lil anarchistic Rat. :)

MM XXXVIII

This is on of my cheap, 'faulty' mugs. I think "Lime" & "Lemon" are still lying around somewhere in our cellar.
I just drank an Earl Grey out of it.
Maybe I should search for a "Bergamotte" one to somewhat complete the Set. :D
