Mugs Monday XLVIII
This mug is so glossy, I had to take numerous photographs of it, to get a decent pair.
And even these are a tiny bit flawed in my eyes. :(
This was a rather pricy one I bought my Father. Mother & I chose it for him. :)
The handle looks a bit Art Nouveau, don't you think?
The flower print repeats itself once as you can see.

Mugs Monday XLVI
Lately, or rather this June, did I notice that I had no more space for new mugs & promised myself to not buy any new ones. That is, until I have found new space of course.
After a slip and 'relapse' this August in the Netherlands I did stay abstinent....
...until last month when my mother begged to buy me one, that she thought was the most understated yet perfect mug which my collection was lacking.
The outside is a fine 'Ivory' I reckon while the inside is of 'Tangelo' colour!
P.S.: In the last image, you can barely see an orange smudge on the upper part of the handle. It is more visible in Real Life! :)

MM XLV
This is a mug... that is more of a half bowl.
(not the typical 200 ml mug but rather a 300'ish ml mug-a-bowl) :D
I drink cocoa or tea in it. but also eat soup & cereals with it.
I love the leaves on this one, especially when using it in the Autumn, like now!
I've been using the mug a lot again in the past days, sipping at hot cocoa or Earl Grey from it while reading my books in the evening.

Mugs Monday XLIV
This is one of my all time favourite "Super"-Mug's. Only problem is, whatever source of lighting (of course non-professional, in my case) I use, it won't have its real colour in the photographs.
It almost always looks black on photos, maybe it wants to be a Black Hole when it grows up? -Maybe all black hole in the known Universe began as Dark Blue Super Mugs!? :o
Btw, here is a link of how the colour looks in Real Life (if not even a tiny bit darker, me thinks). -> Lacivert
And below another try at getting a better look at the colour!
(I look like Quasi Modo in the reflection *groans*)

Mugs Monday XLIII
This is my turkish Libra Zodiac coffee mug with a gold rim, given to me by my mother a few years ago.
It is my Sun Sign, but I wish I could find a mug with my Moon Sign, too, one day.
And I love how beautifully painted the moon, stars, planets & the scale itself are. ❤
Oh, and look closely at the Date they put in this one... maybe you'll see what I mean. :)
Here the translation for image #2, from turkish to english.

MM XLII
Another B-Day mug my sneaky, eldest brother gave to me in 2011. Just like he did the year before.
It's a collectors piece from Colani. Who is & always has been a fave Designer of mine. :)
EDIT - Something's wrong with the Camera, I'll try to shoot the photographs again, as soon as I know what's wrong with it first. :( Sorry!

Mugs Monday XLI
Since I had my Birthday last week, let me show you what my eldest brother bought me for my Birthday in 2010.
It was a sneaky move, since I had forbidden my Parents & Brothers to buy me something. I just don't see a reason for it. You'll only come closer to death officially.
But of course my love for mugs made me momentarily forget my stubbornness & I took it.
"For a knockout cup of coffee" *yay*

Mugs Monday XL
In celebration of one of my two elder Brother's Birthday last Week, here a mug of his.
Because we all three are fans of Johnny Bravo, and in one of the Episode was a Bear who called himself "Chronos - Master of all Time", and said Brother liked that one a lot so he got this Mug.
Here is the Rest.

MM XXXVI
This is one of my most odd mugs.
It depicts a smiling, blue Elephant, which has got a small (unpropotionally to it), blue Mouse behind it.
The same scene can be seen on the other side.
With the only difference being, that this unlikely pair is a bit smaller than their pendant on the other side.
(And no, the camera isn't faulty, the prints of those animals are erroneous.)

Mugs Monday XXXIV
A Jumbo Mug I bought sometime ago. (Actually 2 Mugs, 'cause I also got one for my Mother, who loves Prunes)
With a set of Prunes/Erikler/Pflaumen on it.
